Virginia Beach, VA. – All Navy afloat and ashore mission operations rely on essential communications. SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) provides the U.S. Navy and other military branches with vital capabilities in the areas of command and control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, cyber, and space. SSC Pacific has awarded G2 Ops, Inc. a 3-year, $3.9M contract to provide Structured Data Modeling and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) services to the U.S. CVN 78 and CVN 79 Aircraft carriers. G2 Ops is creating comprehensive network models, which will give the Navy the ability to conduct engineering, interface, and cybersecurity analytics on the large end-to-end systems architecture onboard these platforms.
G2 Ops continues to expand the MBSE foundation it has helped construct for one of its primary partners, the U.S. Navy. “This contract allows us to provide the two newest aircraft carriers in the fleet with Structured Data Modeling and an MBSE infrastructure, enhancing their cybersecurity operations,” said Kevin Esser, G2 Ops’ Executive Vice President. Tracy Gregorio, G2 Ops’ President added, “We are honored by the confidence the Navy continues to show in our work, and we look forward to the opportunity to provide innovative systems engineering capabilities to SSC Pacific.”
