Traditional defense engineering treats cybersecurity as a compliance exercise — something bolted on after design, tested in isolation, and managed through manual checklists. G2 Ops, Inc. takes a fundamentally different approach.

We embed cybersecurity directly into model-based systems engineering (MBSE) workflows, creating a persistent digital thread from requirements through deployment. The result: systems that are secure by design, not secure by accident. Authorization timelines measured in weeks, not years. And program managers who can see real-time risk instead of waiting for static reports.

“DE/MBSE is the pathway to Cyber Ready. We’re not bolting security on — we’re building it in.”

— Dean Smith, VP of Security Engineering and Enterprise Integration

Foreign Military Sales & Security Cooperation

G2 Ops delivers engineering and cybersecurity services under Foreign Military Sales cases managed by the U.S. Government. Our work reaches allied and partner nations the way defense capability is meant to move — through the government-to-government process, with the U.S. Government as the contracting authority and G2 Ops performing in support of the case.

That structure demands more than engineering skill. It requires an export-control posture that holds up under scrutiny. G2 Ops maintains full ITAR compliance across its technical data, software, and personnel practices, and applies the same controls to FMS-supporting work that it applies to domestic defense programs.

The capabilities are the ones already at the center of our portfolio. Model-based systems engineering gives partner-nation configurations a single authoritative source of truth rather than a divergent stack of documents. Cyber authorization work carries that model forward into security artifacts and continuous monitoring, so systems delivered through security cooperation channels are defensible from the design stage rather than certified after the fact.

For international partners, the result is a system that arrives with its engineering rationale and its cybersecurity evidence intact — and a U.S. contractor equipped to operate inside the process that governs how it gets there.

Intelligence Community & National Security

G2 Ops delivers model-based systems engineering and cybersecurity services in support of Intelligence Community and broader national security requirements. These missions set a higher bar — for security, for compliance, and for the discipline with which technical work is documented and defended.

Our workforce is cleared to the levels these missions require, and the company maintains the facility clearance posture appropriate to sensitive national security work. That posture is not incidental to the engineering; it determines which problems a contractor can be trusted to sit inside.

The technical approach is the same one that anchors our defense portfolio, applied where the consequences of a security failure are highest. Secure-by-design engineering puts cybersecurity requirements into the model at the architecture stage instead of appending them at the end. Continuous authorization replaces the periodic-snapshot model with a live view of security posture. The digital thread keeps requirements, design, test evidence, and security artifacts connected across the system lifecycle, so a change in one is traceable to its effect on the others.

For national security customers, that combination means engineering rigor and security rigor are the same activity rather than competing ones.

Positioned for the New DoN

The Department of the Navy’s PAE reorganization is reshaping how programs are acquired and executed. G2 Ops, Inc. is positioned at the intersection of every major change.

What Changed

PAE restructuring consolidates undersea, surface, and mission systems under new leadership with emphasis on digital engineering and integrated combat systems.

Why It Matters

The new structure demands contractors who work across domains with integrated digital engineering approaches — exactly how G2 Ops, Inc. operates.

Our Position

Active contracts across all reorganized PEOs, proven MBSE methodology, SBIR Phase III tools deployed in production — we’re not adapting, we’re already there.
