As Senior Fellow of Enterprise Engineering and AI Strategy and Chief Data Strategist at G2 Ops, Inc., Dr. McCoy provides strategic technical guidance, fosters innovation, and aligns engineering and artificial intelligence initiatives with long-term organizational goals. Leveraging deep expertise in data science and cybersecurity analytics, she advises executive leadership, mentors senior technical talent, and represents G2 Ops in external engagements that strengthen the company’s position as a leader in digital engineering and cybersecurity.
Throughout her career, Dr. McCoy has designed and delivered data-driven enterprise solutions across the public and private sectors. During her tenure at G2 Ops, she has progressed from Vice President of Software Engineering to her current role, demonstrating versatile expertise across the full software development lifecycle, cybersecurity analytics, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and cloud architecture. She has contributed to the development of G2 Ops’ proprietary tools, including SOFIA—a mission-based cyber risk assessment platform transitioned to the U.S. Navy—and is a recognized thought leader who has authored articles on cybersecurity analytics and visualization for warfighting advantage, responsible cloud engineering, and MBSE applications for critical infrastructure resilience.
Dr. McCoy earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, where her dissertation research introduced a relevance model for threat-centric ranking of cybersecurity vulnerabilities using open-source intelligence—advancing the field beyond traditional scoring methods. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University and master’s degrees from Old Dominion University and Regent University. Her published research spans social media analytics, cyber exploit prediction, and cyber risk quantification.
