Accelerating Mission Outcomes with SOFIA: A Mature SBIR Innovation Now Powering Fleet Readiness

The Navy’s push toward Cyber Ready engineering and continuous modernization reflects this shift. Achieving these goals requires tooling that can keep pace with rapid capability integration and provide engineers, program offices, and operational commanders with immediate insight into how system changes affect kill chains, cyber posture, and real-world mission execution.

Today, under a renewed five year Phase III contract vehicle, SOFIA continues to evolve alongside emerging Navy priorities. Its ongoing expansion supports new mission threads, authoritative data integration, high risk cyber reviews, and enterprise level digital engineering initiatives that enable the Navy to prototype, iterate, and scale at the velocity modern warfighting concepts demand.
