As Senior Vice President of Digital Engineering at G2 Ops, Inc., Mr. Williams serves as the company’s senior engineer, with all programs and engineering falling under his leadership. He oversees the full breadth of G2 Ops’ technical delivery—spanning Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), cybersecurity engineering, cloud architecture, software development, and AI/ML innovation—ensuring mission-critical solutions meet the highest standards for the Department of Defense.
Under Mr. Williams’ technical leadership, G2 Ops has developed proprietary tools including SOFIA, which delivers operationally relevant risk scoring to inform decision-makers, and Monarch, which streamlines the creation and maintenance of cybersecurity artifacts directly from live system models. He has guided the company’s engineering teams through major contract wins, including NAVWAR 5.0 system-of-systems engineering and cybersecurity engineering support services, and SBIR Phase II AI-enabled modeling work with the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Mr. Williams has nearly two decades of experience in systems engineering for the Department of Defense and is a recognized thought leader in MBSE, having presented at industry conferences including the No Magic World Symposium. A founding-era team member, he has been with G2 Ops since 2010, playing a central role in the company’s growth from a startup to an eight-time Inc. 5000 honoree. Prior to G2 Ops, he served as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was a core member of a consulting team working with the Navy Admiral’s staff at the Pentagon to execute key initiatives that increased the speed and scope of the Navy’s information sharing.
